Leading Global Publisher Fortifies Publishing Strategy Across Mobile Devices and New Media

(NASDAQ: GLUU), a leading global publisher of mobile games, today announced its North American lineup of games for the first quarter of 2009, reinforcing the company’s publishing strategy that emphasizes cross-platform global game launches. Today’s announcement reflects several months of internal resource realignment to incorporate new mobile platforms from Apple, the Open Handset Alliance and Nokia into its existing massive global network of J2ME and BREW handsets.

Glu, which currently supports more than 1,000 devices in more than 10 languages and 65 countries worldwide, has reallocated approximately 30 percent of development resources to reflect the emergence of new platforms introduced by Apple, Nokia and the Open Handset Alliance, while continuing its strong support for Windows Mobile, Blackberry, J2ME and BREW devices. Glu’s development approach, which utilizes years of technological intelligence and internal infrastructure, gives Glu the unique ability to execute launches across all platforms and devices.

The titles launching in North America in the first quarter of 2009 will be available on J2ME, BREW, Blackberry and Windows Mobile platforms with additional platforms noted.

Hace unos días anuncié la salida de la beta online del Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War II. Para los que no se hayan animado a probarla os pongo un video ingame de dicho juego. Estaría bien que la estrategia clásica vuelva a sus días dorados pero no podemos quejarnos ya que este 2009 va a ser un gran año, entre este Warhammer 40K y el tan esperado Starcraft II.

Cada vez pinta mejor este juego. En este nuevo tráiler Rocksteady Studios nos presenta la captura del Joker y el “corto” encierro en Arkham. Recordemos que el juego será multi para PS3, 360 y PC.

En caso de prosperar una patente de Microsoft, a futuro los usuarios no tendrán necesidad de comprar PC. En lugar de ello pagarán por el derecho a usar el software y hardware.

OMFG¡¡¡¡ ¿Por qué no venderán esta maravilla? Parece que es solo promocional y por tanto disponible solo por Sony. 400 páginas de agenda basado en el juego que, posiblemente, mejores notas se ha llevado en el 2008.
